Message for 2012

Peace is not just an absence of violence or war. Among other things, it also involves a progress towards health, a reduction of poverty and moving towards environmental sustainability.

It is hard to keep going when the world seems to be against me. However, I have learned to see that the world really is not against me—in the same way that it is not against any other peace warrior.

The focus simply is not on me and others have not taken the time to know me well enough. Their focus is on their life's journey which is different from mine. That is all. I rely on the universe to let me be a drop in a vast ocean of life and appreciate that I can be myself; I can create my own small peace-centered works that I want to create and I can work on these works every day. My creations cannot be destroyed, for they become part of a conceptual world.  I am careful to stay my own focus on a greater good, a center of peace, a stronger network of love. This is all I can do; but this little contribution is not complicated or impossible. It is as easy to do as breathe and I can give positivie meaning to my life in a slow, methodical progression towards an internal, then eternal peace. 

Oneness is important. I share my peace stories with others and as I would wish others to hear me, I will hear them and appreciate their stories.  It is through this sharing that we will attain world peace—one person at a time in love. Always, ALWAYS, always in LOVE.
