Paulette Dubé is the author of four books and the recipient of a number of awards, including the Milton Acorn Memorial People’s Poetry Award (1994) and the CBC Alberta Anthology. Her latest novel, Talon, was short-listed for the 1999 Canadian Literary Awards, the 2003 Alberta Writers’ Guild Best Novel Award, and the 2003 Sunburst Award. She lives in Jasper, Alberta, with her family.
