A NONVIOLENT DOCTRINE INVOLVING THE BUDDHIST AND HINDU BELIEF OF THE SACREDNESS OF ALL LIVING CREATURES
by Marlene Lacey
Ahh, hear a hymn of a H i n d u .
softly seeking sacredness, y o u ,
ahimsa, soft sacred sound s i n g
a hymn song of the soul, A H I M S A
honours all who
lived before me,
all living now and all that will be connecting
cultures, creeds through all eternity.
I will build strength and tranquility,
so sing to me a synchronicity.
set sail to soaring aspirations,
wing my life from hostility
lead me to the light
lift away my f o g
s y n e r g i z e
my spirit.
Ahh, ahimsa. Ahh, my hymn song
I sing softly silently seeking spirit through thee
searching higher for the one consciousness.
AHIMSA
Lead me to the light
Lead me to the light;
Lead me to the light. Lead me to do right;
give me greater sight;
provide a brighter light,
help me in my flight
silently
seeking
spirit through thee;
Searching higher for
the
one
consciousness.
