Todd Swift
(born in
Montreal in 1966) was one of the key
activists behind the peace-poetry protests in 2003 against the war in
Iraq. He was editorial coordinator of

editor of the anthology 100 Poets against the war (Salt,
Cambridge).
He is poetry editor of http://www.nthposition.comwhich
was the reader's poll winner in the UTNE awards for best online cultural
coverage last year. He reviews regularly
for Books in
Canada. His poems have appeared recently in Poetry
London, Geist and Gargoyle. The
Chronicle of Higher Education has compared his projects to "those of Ezra
Pound's in the 10s and 20s". He
