The Dawning of a New Day

Stars dance
    to greet the hues upon the water
Pink sky reflects upon the bay
    stars fade in salute

New opportunity awakens
    to demonstrate who I am

Just as the sun gradually broadens
    the horizon
God’s will and love enlighten,
    expand my path, illuminate

As the belt of light deepens
    on the horizon: pinks, whites and hues
The light of the day begins
    envelops me; my soul sings

The gentle roll of the waves
    is now visible as the day begins
Reflecting, refractive, separate yet whole
    today’s dance of energy begins

The wind joins in
    the smooth water dances ripples
Listen with your heart and hear
    the beat of the music, nature’s song

The energy composition is one of God’s gifts,
    played by an orchestra of souls
We each have a part, a role
    the Conductor eliminates no one

Elemental electric principles reinforce
    the contributing role
A Conductor magnifies and moves forward
    positive energy, maintaining or augmenting

Just as the sunrise includes all hues
    ever-expanding the spectrum of colour
The Conductor includes all members
    evolving roles, presenting new parts as we grow

The light is his gift, to mark our paths:
    the beacon of a lighthouse in the dark
The beckoning of faith in the development
    of a new day; foot-falls guided, route clear

Today begins, the present, the gift
    The past a memory, the future anticipated
Unwrap the gift; raise your heart;
    Hear life’s symphony, and let your spirit soar.
