To Artist for Peace readers, Plans to publish artists for peace in 2006, 2007 and 2008 have been put aside. I have been contemplating Lilies for some time and called for submissions with little response. However, I stubbornly am sticking with my plan. I am still working to get the message out to other artists. I have done so through a number of mechanisms, more lately focusing on the artist for peace website that I setup on the social network. There, I began networking with others on a peace project that I call "The Lily Project". The goal is to get artists to contemplate the lily. After deep contemplation artists are asked to create and submit a piece for the project. I believe taking part in the project will motivate and inspire others along path of peace. Even the most negative view can inspire hope as Keat's words in 1818 (Farey Songs, I):
Meanwhile, as it is election year for both Canadians and Americans, I am placing writing that I did in 2007 to cover the unpublished years for this publication. Let your voice be heard: As a peace action, I have become a Declaration of Interdependence Signer. Declaration/Pledge
